Let’s lead with the numbers, because that’s usually what you came here for. Photo 8 event photography packages start from £750. If you’d like guests to walk away with something physical on the night, on-site prints start from £10. Those are real starting points, not teaser figures designed to lure you in before the bill balloons.

From that base, the price moves with your event. A short evening of coverage with a single photographer sits at the lower end. A long day, more than one photographer, a printing station running all night, travel and a big set of edited images will all push it up. Larger and multi-day events cost more, which won’t surprise anyone. The honest answer to “how much?” is that it depends on what your day actually needs, and we’d rather quote you properly than throw out a number that turns out to be wrong.

So instead of a fixed menu that pretends every event is identical, we build a quote around yours. You tell us roughly what you’re planning; we tell you exactly what it costs, in writing, before you commit to anything.

What shifts the price

A handful of things do most of the heavy lifting on your final figure:

• Hours of coverage. The longer we’re on site, the higher the base cost. We build the hours around your running order, so you’re not paying for us to stand about during the bits that don’t need a camera.
• Number of photographers. One photographer can comfortably cover a lot. Bigger events, or those happening in two places at once, sometimes need a second pair of hands, and that’s reflected in the price.
• Printing. On-site instant prints start from £10 and are a brilliant addition for parties and corporate nights. They’re priced as a clear extra, never smuggled into the headline number.
• Travel. We cover London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and travel further afield too. Any travel is set out plainly in your quote.
• Deliverables. How many edited images you want, the depth of the post-production and how quickly you need them all play a part. A tight turnaround can carry a small rush element, which we’ll always flag upfront.

What you get in a Photo 8 quote

When we send you a quote, you’ll see the lot laid out: the hours we’ll cover, the number of photographers, the edited high-resolution images, how and when they’ll reach you, and any extras like printing or travel as separate line items. Nothing is buried. The idea is that you can read it once and understand precisely what you’re paying for, with no asterisks and no awkward conversation at the end of the night.

We sort the copyright and usage terms before you book, too, so you know where and how you’re allowed to use your photos. If you’ve got specific commercial needs, tell us early and we’ll cover them in the quote rather than leaving them to chance.
